About Me

Hello there,

Thank you for visiting my blog. I was born in Solo, Indonesia, and have been living in the Big Apple for quite some time now. My all time favorite movies are Ben-Hur, Les Miserables, The Sound of Music, and You've Got Mail (don't you agree it's the most romantic thing when 2 people, who were initially enemies, turn out to be in love with each other? :) ) A few books that I dearly love are the Bible, and Evidence Not Seen by Darlene Deibler Rose.

Honestly, writing is not my forte. I often have difficulties expressing myself in words. I tend to keep things to myself rather than speak it out, whether it is pleasant or unpleasant. My mother was the first person who motivated me to write a diary when I was six years old. However, it never really worked for my lack of interest and ideas of what to write. However, as I grow older, I became to realize how great it is to be able to put our thoughts into writing. This idea was found when I met my husband. It is not only to help us express our feelings, but also to sort out our thoughts and keep our mind clear. For our thoughts come and go easily. At this moment we remember, the next moment we forget, until another time when something comes up and reminds us, we begin to think again. It is only thru jotting it down that we can keep all of our memories, and moments that we cherished. This is one of the reasons I want to have a journal where I also can see the progress I made in this journey of life.

Aside from keeping a record for myself, I would also like to create a community with people who share similar experiences, interests, in which we can build each other up.
